Start on clean dry hair.Create a center parting and then a parting on each side from the center part to just behind the ear.Working from back towards hairline take 1” horizontal sections.Apply styling foam to roots and comb through.Using a small round brush dry each section up and back creating volume.Make sure to marry the center parting when drying each horizontal section.Repeat step 3-6 until you reach the last front section.Repeat the same steps on the last section but this time don’t completely blow out the styling foam. This will give you the lines in the hair when brushing back.Brush back to finish.

Make sure to fully dry afro with a diffuser and dryer.Using a hair pick start pulling afro upwards leaving the sides as tight as possibleOnce you have achieved the desired height use your pick to pat the top flat.Use the flat side of your pick to pat the back & sides.Repeat steps 4-5 using a little hairspray to finalize the structured shape.

Begin on clean dry hair and lightly spray hair all over with a heat protective spray.Starting at the nape of the neck curl all hair with a 1″ curling wand curling each section in the opposite direction as the last.Curl the hair around the hairline away from face.Flip head over and generously spray with a texture spray.Lightly spray fingertips with hairspray and work style to achieve desired shape to finish.
